Can't Stop Praising His Name!

Psalm 28:6-7
6 Blessed be the Lord, because He has heard the voice of my supplications! The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices and with my song I will praise.

It is one thing to be quietly thankful for something in your heart, but it is another thing altogether to put your thankfulness on display through praise! When we sing, clap, and raise our hands to the Lord with a heart full of gratitude it lets the world know that our faith in Jesus is genuine and real. It is an unapologetic joy! Have you ever been so thankful that you didn't care how many people saw your joy?

Can you relate to the many Psalmists who have written, “How can I keep from singing?”

Maybe you can't relate, and my friend, that's a problem. You need to get "in touch" with with thankfulness over what the Lord has done in your life.

It is a declaration of faith to show gratitude to God for His provision, help, and protection. It is a sign of spiritual maturity to be able to openly express praise and thankfulness to the Lord for His goodness. It's time to rejoice in public and never give a second thought to what others think.

Let me encourage you to let your joy become visible to the people around you. In your home, your church, and your work place make it your mission to become known as the person who gives thanks and praise God in all circumstances. Be the weird person who just can't stop praising His name! You may not be comfortable with this, but guess what...

THE WORLD NEEDS MORE CHRISTIANS WHO ARE WILLING TO PUT THEIR REPUTATIONS ON THE LINE FOR JESUS!

Rejoice when others complain. Give praise when others give criticism. Spread joy when others spread gossip. Be the difference in this world! Be set apart. That's what the pursuit of holiness is.

Be careful though, over time you will see how contagious gratitude can be. Thankful people like to be surrounded by thankful people. Just like bitter, ungrateful people tend to surround themselves with bitter, unthankful people.

Decide today that you will be the leader of the thankful crowd!

Don’t let anything or anyone hold you back from acknowledging the blessing of who God is, was, and forevermore will be. God never changes, and you are the recipient of His mercy. So let your world know it...

You Can't Stop Praising His Name!

Jesus, You woke me up this morning and put breath in my lungs. You provide for all my needs. You care for me even when I'm not aware of it. May I always be aware of your presence and shout praises to You name because of it. I want to let it be known how thankful I am for all You've given. In Your Name, Amen
